It interferes in your relationship with your wife. You are giving to someone else and she is getting ripped off. |

The harm is that the cheater will have to live with the guilt of that betrayal. Also, disease possibilities or even pregnancy. Why make a mockery of a marriage? |

Your forgetting one person who would know, YOU...Whether or not you believe it, being untruthful and deceitful will eventually get you found out simply by the way you act. |

The harm that's done is he has broken a vow he made to her in front of God and all their family and friends. He promised fidelity and broke that promise. He may contract a STD and pass it on to his wife - that's harmful and criminal and possibly fatal. She will find out one way or another - that's pretty harmful isn't it. |

It depends on the guy. If he takes his vows seriously, and if he loves his wife. How about STDs did this "guy" use a condom? I guess it all depends on your ethics. |

Sometimes, Fred, it's not about being able to "get away with it." Sometimes it's about personal responsibility and self-respect.
Wake up every morning with the person who cheated. Live all day as the one who cheats.
Harm goes both ways. Sometimes the rules benefit the perpetrator more than the victim. Consequences can be serious business.
So, if you're asking if there are no consequences for decietful and betraying behaviors:
There are.
And not all the consequences are on her. |

It's still wrong regardless if she finds out or not and I promise you SOMEONE knows..women are not good at keeping secrets ..she has confided in SOMEONE and that someone has told people and I'm sure it will come out in the wash... |

if he has a heart in that cage he call a chest, then he will live with the guilt. and plus one way or another she will find out. because that whole " oh she wont find out" story doesnt have a happy ending. and who ever this cheater is wouldn't be asking this question if no harm is done. think about that. |

the harm is is that he chaeted on his wife and one time can and most often leads to more times |

Oh no, you just opened up Pandora's box on Yahoo!!
If she found out how would you explain it? I bet you wouldn't say, "If you never found out then it wouldn't have mattered." You know and your god knows. You should have enough morals to feel guilt over lying and cheating on someone you got into a monagamous relationship with. If you don't feel this is wrong then you shouldn't be in a monogamous relationship. Especially a legal binding relationship where cheating is considered adultery. If it isn't seen as morally wrong then why are almost all religions, the legal system and the majority of society against it? If you commit a crime and no one ever knows is it still wrong?
Why is it that guys like to ask these questions? :) |

Well that all depends on how you would feel. They don't know but you know that you did. If you feel that cheating on is no big deal to you then why ask the question.
The harm is what if you catch something and you give it to your wife? What if your conscious eats at you and you feel bad and you end up telling her? What if she's doing the same thing? |

What is the Harm??? Well YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!! that is why so many people get caught. When they say no one will find out. You are asking to get caught!
Just don't do it. You married your wife for a reason, think of what that reason is! |

The harm was done the minute he invited someone else into the intimate space that he should have only be sharing with his wife. So, if his wife never finds out, he knows, and the guilt will follow him for a long time. Betrayal never goes away! |

Besides him being a DOG. The wife may never find out but Karma has a way of making it's rounds. What goes aroud comes Right Back Around. Good Luck |

Because he will know and he will know every day that he isn't worthy of his wife's love nor his family's respect. |

You're only asking this b/c you're either thinking about trying it, or you already have.
WHAT HARM IS DONE??? Do you even need to ask????? You've broken the vow you took to your wife when you said "I do". You've lied to her (by NOT telling her and hiding it) and deceived her, you've gone behind her back b/c you're not man enough to tell her she's not the one. WHY on EARTH would anyone need to cheat on their spouse?? You obvsiously married them for a reason and if they're not good enough anymore, then maybe you should get a divorce, thought I don't believe in divorce.
So the harm done is you've gone back on everything you vowed to your wife.
Pathetic you'd even think to ask a question like that. |

If someone stole your car but never got caught is there any harm done? |

You are a dealbreaker. Honour and respect start at home. If you can't do that, it will affect the rest of your life. Haven't you been reading all the other posts in here? |

karma.
i cheated in a previous realtionship. okay..so i didn't love the guy, i moved on. but that little point in life will follow you around for years. you wouldn't like it happening to you. |

I guess there isn't any harm done, but I would think that if you got away with it once you'd go for it again and eventually you'd be caught, then the sh*t would totally hit the fan..
Just don't cheat. |

Well, we know all about it and we think you are disgusting. |

If the cheater has any soul at all the guilt will eat away at it!
So what you're getting at is...?
It isn't the cheating that is wrong...it is the getting caught that is wrong...? |
