I understand with wanting to get married young, because i want to be married by 21 also, but that's just to have it in concrete evidence, and there is definitely nothing wrong with waiting until later in life. |

You like to get people worked up don't you? Just a little sadistic....have you considered counseling? The "private" questions and answers section gave you away....
Get a life.... |

No, I don't believe that at all. But I do believe you are either really bored or just plain ignorant. |

It really doesnt matter what age you marry. When God puts the right one in your path, thats when all will work. For his good not ours. Women who wait untill they are older, evidently have reasons. It could be college, maturity, etc...
But God has that special person for everyone, if your willing to let him guide you in that decision. |

No, I don't agree. I didn't get married till i was 24 and i KNOW that i am not a LOSER. I know I could have had ANY man. But I waited till I found the RIGHT man. |

You're probably one of those kids they tried to rescue from that Polygamist cult in Texas. What a backwards way of thinking. |

Geez. Do you need attention? You sound like the needy one to me. I'm 21 and not married. I'm happy as can be. I live with my amazing bf, so I'm not lonely at all. I have a Bachelor's Degree and I am working full-time (that whole career thing). I may however, become a stay at home mom because I'm pregnant with my first and I can't stand the idea of random people watching my baby. I think you are lonely or maybe just unsatisfied with life. Maybe you should get a hobby or a job or something. And, just to clarify, you can't have any man, especially if you're married. Good luck in life. Get happy. |

No, I strongly disagree. I got married at 25 because I was ready for marriage at 25. I'm a PhD student because I want to make a solid future for myself and my family. In fact, most people I know aren't married by the time they're 21. There's a lot more to life than marriage and kids and your early twenties are a great time to let loose and have fun. You can finally drink, you're financially independent, and you still have a lot of childbearing years left. If you find yourself married at 21, that's fine, but it's far from the goal that everybody should aim for. And you shouldn't aim to have "any" man. You should aim to have someone that you have love and respect for...and the maturity of someone over 21 is a lot better than that of someone younger. |

Boy do you need to grow up. Good for you that you found mr right yeung but let me tell you that I looked a long time before I married at 28 and I did the right thing. If I had married in my teens I would not be the person I was today. IF your marriage lasts forever kudos to you but no one should marry before they are ready or feel that the person is right for them. You are very judgemental to say something like that. |

I think it's best to wait to get married. 21 seems way too young. You need to get out there are do some crazy things before you settle down. |

WOW.... I don't know where to start?? Why would you want to get married @ 17? When your not even legal yet?? Are you sure it's b/c you can have any man or b/c you had a baby by 1?? If you get married b4 21 & divoriced by 30-- Then wouldn't that make you a loser too?? I don't think there is a age limit on getting married & it's not about having a career or having company. |

I strongly disagree with you. I think its foolish to get married at such a young age. You really don't know what you want till you get a little older. I believe getting married is about wanting to start a family and I think waiting until your late 20's, early 30's is a good age. You have so much to experience before getting married. Whats the hurry anyways!? |

I think if you make it to 21 and are never-married, you are wise. Marriage should wait until around the mid-20s anyway. Younger than that people just are really taking a shot in the dark...they don't really know what they want, don't know anything about adult love, and are simply too immature and have too little adult life experience to be taking such a step.
Much wiser to get on ones adult life path, experience relationships and other life events as an adult, and then be better able to make good choices when it comes to relationships, careers, etc.
A 17 yr old that marries sounds much more like someone jumping on her first option, because she fears there won't be another one. If a person could have "any" partner (and no one can) then they are much more likely to wait, and be choosy about it. ☺
Are you trolling? Your question doesn't match your profile info at all...and your question list is private so I suspect you're just seeking reaction here. |

That's such a load of nonsense. At 17 your not mature enough to know wheter or not you want to be with that man forever. I'm 18 and as you put it can have any man. I'd rather go to college get a good education, then fall in love. I'd rather not be an unqualified wife, relying on my husband for money. Go get some sense.
EDIT=I've a strong feeling she's making it up. Her profile makes no reference nor suggests she is married. She must be that stupid to think she can fool people.Take your fabrications elsewhere. |

Okay that is your opinion!
I didn't meet my wife till she was 28! I didn't think she was a loser I thought she was the most wonderful woman I ever met and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her! She had a career outside the home before our first child was born and then she wanted to stay at home to raise our children! BUT THAT WAS HER DESIRE! And her opinion of what a mother should be!
So to answer your question NO I don't agree with your statement. BUT you do have the right to your opinion! |

Well getting married at 17 is nieve. In fact I think most people are better off not getting married until their late 20's. By then you can stand on your own, have things going for yourself, and can have a mature relationship. It sounds to me like you "just wanted a man" to take care of you. Good luck with that. |

False. A woman usually finds a better man when she settles down at a mature age rather than getting married at 17. |

Getting married before 21 can make you a loser. God bless you if it works for you, but I'd never marry anyone so young, only because at that age, they're apt to change their mind and that costs money, sister. I'd date, shag, and anything else with a 21 year old, but only would get married with someone that young with a prenup. |

You're saying we're the loosers? Wow. I'm getting married around 23 or 24, and I have a pretty strong feeling that I am not a looser. I have a man, thanks very much, and I bet he's better in every way next to the pedophile you married. |

Totally disagree. There is nothing wrong with getting yourself stable before marriage. And being with someone else is not the only thing in the world to look forward to. Some people perfer being single. |
