This has been tried and failed so the real answer is no.
But yeah I’d have to agree with a lot of other people on this one.
What’s the deal with people forgetting the whole “two to tango thing”? |

maybe if you could prove that she knew he was married and that affair caused the breakdown of your marriage.
But in reality it is ALL your husbands fault...he IS married to you and it's his responsibility to abide by his marriage vows and resist temptation, the women to you is only his device of adultery......it can be any woman.
the best revenge you can give to a woman that steals your husband is to let her keep him....not sure who said that, Bette Davis maybe?? |

DeeDee
yes you can as a third party defendant; however, if your state is a "no fault" state, then there is no use to do this except for revenge and satisfaction from the embarrassment you cause "them". |

Tardacus

yes,sue them both |

Not that I know of*
you can end your marriage under "adultry"
but NO , nothing can be done to her...she romped in the sack with your hubby, and yes that's extremely hurtful to you...but tis Both their faults...but Nothing can come of it with HER*~
Sorry~* |

I'm sure you could find a lawyer willing to bill you for an attempt. Good luck with that. |

If your state allows for filing "alienation of affection " then yes you can but if they don't then no.....you can always kick her @ss.. :-) |

it would be good if you could but you cant.
although they may not have been aware he had a signifigant other. when it comes down to it cheating was his choise and fault, she wasnt the married one.
hope that helps x |

why dont you sue your husband, we wasnt innocent in this matter, it takes two to tango.. |

Andrew
there used to be common law causes of action for alienation of affection. However, those are pretty much ancient history now. |

you can't file a suit against her directly, but if you get diviorced and use adultery as the cause you can name her co-respondant in the suit. it becomes public record and everyone will know she's a skank. |

Doubt it! Unless she is Meryl Streepe. |

You can't, but don't worry, Karma will attack her some day |

Why is everyone so quick to blame the other woman? Its your HUSBAND that did the cheating. Blame him. |

Zincous

depends what state you are in/where you live and their laws |

Its called alienation of affection. |

Sarah S
it comes under aldultry and yes it can be used against him. law gives more priority to women, and eventhough i am a woman i do think its a tiny bit unfair!! |

Stephanie
a law suit for what. your husband and the women volunterrily did the deed and it was a mutual agreement. what can you sue for a broken heart?? |

Allison, aka Nice Lady
Blame your husband, not the woman. |

KJ
yes.
and she can file lawsuit on you for being less than smart.
you need to realize something.
it's your husband's fault as well. |

~nicole~
Really? Is it all her fault? Is it not his fault too? Or even yours? |

10SC
Why? She's not the one who betrayed you, your husband is. |

No, she's done nothing illegal. She's not the one committing adultery, your husband is. |
