I don't chat, but I would feel uncomfortable about chatting to a male without telling my hubby. As long as it remains on a friendly basis, there's nothing wrong with it. |

No..would you like it if your husband were chatting with another female online.... |

Is it something you would do in front of your husband and can you be honest with your husband on what you are doing and secondly it depends on whether you are talking about .If it is personal stop it ! your husband and you need to sit down and talk and maybe you need to read some materials on self esteem ...
If your just chitter chatting about nothing and your husband knows go for it... |

No no no...only leads to trouble. If you DO decide to try, if AT ANY POINT, you think it best to lie about what you are doing,s top immediately. Once you start lying about it, you know you are in too deep. |

It depends on what kind of relationship you have with your husband. Is he the jealous type? Are you the jealous type?
Would you want your husband chatting online with another woman? How would that make you feel?
Those questions will help you choose the right decision for you on whether or not you want to chat online with another male. |

It's an invitation for trouble. You many know your intent, but you don't know the intent of the person on the other end. |

Hey I think it isn't really a matter if it is wrong or right. I think it comes down to is it right for your situation. Is your husband ok with it? If there is trust and he doesn't mind, and it's an open agreement, then I don't see the problem. But if he is insecure and would be upset by it ( only you know him best) Then it would be the wrong thing to do. It could cause conflicts in your marriage if he doesn't agree to it. Some marriges have the confidence and trust in each other and faithfulness to allow it, while others are destroyed by just the mere thought of infedility. Is your hubby ok with this? Also does the male on the other end respect that you are married. Some people will flirt caring less that the person is married. I have a male friend that I have chatted with in the past his time is very occupied now with work. But he never crossed lines, my husband was aware of our friendship and never had an issue. I often discussed my conversations with my husband that we had. So like I said it depends on your situation and your husbands feelings most of all. Goodluck! |

I'm married and I chat online with people (males & females) of all ages and discuss any topic. It's my hobby. I have found that it has broadened my perspective on many topics and brought me into contact with some really great people and the occasional cretin too. Thank heavens for the ignore button.
You can set the agenda for chat topics. Make it clear from the start what you will chat about and what you will not. Most people respect you for that. Those that don't you can ignore or they will leave to pursue what they want elsewhere.
I would download Yahoo Messenger and visit the chat rooms. Find one where you are comfortable & chat away.
Have fun! |

I would say you are asking for trouble. I know your married, not dead BUT guys online can get the wrong idea.....they talk, then they want to meet etc etc you need to be careful. Ask your husband and if he says he minds then don't do it. Would you want him chatting with women? |

yes just don't give out personal info something serious like he might like u and wanna meet ya and woops ur married! |

What kind of chatting are you doing? Is it the kind of chatting you would do in the line at the grocery store or is it the kind of chatting that you could actually pay $2.00 a minute?
Here's the thing, if it's grocery store chatting, knock yourself out but if its 1-900 chatting, some may view that as cheating.
Personally, I think if you take it off line, ie:phone, person, etc. then it definately becomes cheating. |

No, it is not ok. It will ruin your marriage, it's just another form of cheating. There are plenty of females to talk to on here if you want to talk to someone |
