Is it okay for a husband to hit his wife if she doesn't have dinner on the table when he gets home?

SherryF	First of all, your wife is your equal not your slave. You have no right to punish her in any way for not doing something for you. She does not have to have dinner for you at all. Even if she has no other job, it is up to her if she wants to cook for you. You have a very distorted view of a marriage and of women. I suggest you get a good self help guide on how to relate to people in general. You are not her father and you do not have any right to instill any sort of punishment on her.
