Ladies.. keep the gray or color it?

The men in my family have always had a full head of hair, but we go gray early in life. I’ve escaped it for much of my life, but now it’s starting to take over. What do you think? Should I invest in a box of Just For Men or leave it alone? I’m not dating anyone at the moment and think it might be a good time to do it if I ever was.

being a guy, sorry for crashing the party...

I let mine grow gray. Makes my wife look younger. Could care less at my age. It's a losing battle.

Dying it now is ok if your going grey earliy, but once you get to the right age just let it go.

I don't care what anyone says gray on a man makes him look older. Dye it.

If you don't think you look better just let it grow out .

colour it if your not marred or seeing anyone but if you are leave it alone because they already like you for who you are

:D

Teresa G
Dye it but use your natural colour, there are products like ladygrecian for men that you apply daily to your hair and make the grays disappear.

You can get away with dying it if you're in your thirties or younger, but if you're older than that, leave it.

Some men look good in gray however, it also could make you look a lot older then you really are. So if you want to attract women especially a younger women, dye your hair ASAP...Good Luck!!

my dad went gray at 43( my doing) and he doesn't dye it.

i think it looks distinguished.

for now, dye it, but when you hit 50, stop, cause everyone talks crap about older men who dye.

GREY be natural. Once you dye your hair it is hard to stop, looks goofy as it all grows out. You have to maintain it constantly.

To be honest I can't really say without seeing a picture of you, most men look ok with gray hair and others look pretty bad with colored hair. So if you could please upload a photo, then I can give you some real advice. Good luck!

Meg
whats wrong with gray if you start dying it you have to do it once a month so don't start something if you don't want to keep doing it

becks
to be honest without a pic its difficult to say, some guys look really good with grey hair. As a fellow early greyer i can tell you what a pain dyeing is cos you have to redo the roots frequently.

Well, you are lucky, you are a man- if a man is grey , he is distinguished, a woman is an old hag. Either way you are safe, it just depends if you are ready to accept it or not

Maggie Babe
No way, dont dye it. It looks distinguished on men.
Besides, when men dye their hair, you can almost always tell and it doesnt look right.
Men get better looking with age, and their grey hair has something to do with that...trust me.

Well the Bible says you can't dye your hair, not one strand of gray, but I think if it makes you feel better than do it. My sister dyes her hair, and it makes her feel better.

I prefer it when my husband uses the Just for Men it makes him look alot younger. It is so simple to use compared to ladies hair dyes..and my hubby hates it because it takes too long.. Oh gee' 5 minutes...Its up to you..but Yes as a woman, I say go for it

Gina
It sounds like you want to try the color. It isn't like it will last forever if you hate it, so why not. You are a guy...if it is totally hideous, you can always cut your hair really short or shave it off. It will grow back.

Sean...
Definitely dye your hair! Gray makes you look distinguished--and old. Most dyes nowadays look natural, and it will make all the difference, to dating and to how people treat you.

go with the Just for Men.... depending on what age bracket you want to hit on, ( start with the mid 20's and work your way up ), you'll feel and look younger.... good luck

ps follow the general rule set forth for women, whatever yo decide, make sure the carpet matches the drapes...

winnie
Well, you don't say your age, so...
Anyway, If you're quite young, you may want to consider dying it. If you're in your 30's or so... well, gray hair can look quite distinguished. However, if it bothers you or you aren't comfortable with the gray, then go ahead and dye it. It's a personal choice, whatever you prefer! Good luck!

Edit: 44? I say stick with the gray, again, it's a distinguished look. If you dye it, you'll seem like you're trying to be younger than you are, 44 is not a bad age to start going gray. Personally, I like gray hair, I think it's a good look (umm hello George Clooney, lol). Again, all of this is assuming you're comfortable with it. Best to you!

Color it but don't do anything too drastic. Hair color usually will actually look way darker on you then it does on the box. Maybe go to a beauty supply store and ask for help? Or you can email me next week and I will talk you through it. A friend of mine did his and it was so dark that it looked fake. You don't actually want to LOOK like you color your hair:)

it depends. Is the gray that you have looks good on you. On some people, gray hair( i mean younger guys), look really good, it makes them look very attractive. So if your gray makes you look good, than why color them, but if they make you look older in age and don't even match with you, your personality and your age, than yeah "invest in Just for Men". No harm.

I think that if you are young, then dye it, but if you are above 40, then relax about it, and learn to look good with it.
Gray can be very distinguised looking.
If you are self-conscious about then dye it, but if you are not, then relax about it.
I met a wonderful woman with a lot of gray, and it didn't bother her...

I have been gray since I was 22. (now almost 40)
I started going gray on my chest, and it is now ALL white.
I have fairly heavy gray on the side of my head, and in my beard, but I keep everything short so it looks better.
