My husband prefers small-boned petite women, and I am really large?

Katie M	You obviously can't shrink your bones. Do you even realize how many people would like to be your size? I'm 5'4" with big shoulders. Instead of wishing for the impossible I keep my body toned and strong. I get compliments on the way they look. Instead of complaining about your body be grateful you don't have a big hump back.

Hillary	He married you right? Why would you want to change the way your body looks, just try to be happy and secure in your own skin. Men love confident women so love your body and how you look. You will make yourself happy which is all that really matters, trust me im 5'3" with large hips (from childbirth) and people crack short jokes to me all the time. Margot	Didn't he know that you were 5'9" tall and broad-shouldered when he a) asked you out for the first date; b) dated you; c) proposed to you; and d) was engaged to you; and d) married you. His preference didn't matter that much to him. He volunteered to have a 5'9" broad-shouldered wife because of items A - D listed above. It isn't like he woke up one day and said "holy cow. How on earth did I marry an Amazon woman?" He loves you for who you are on the inside and not for your skeleton. Tall women are gorgeous! Rock it! You can't change your genetics. Sorry toots. You sound like one of the women that let a man insult, mentally and psychologically abuse them, then turn around and kiss their butts to keep them. marcia f	If he loves small petite women then he would have never married you. He loves you the way you are. I am 5'10" and my husband is 5'4" we have been married for 38 years. When I was young he always wanted me to wear high heel shoes which then made me about 6 feet tall and he would beam when men would flirt with me. We have been very happy with each other because we live with each others personalities and not just the physical body. My husband is the biggest man I have even known. Besides when we lay down we are both the same height.

Complicated	Hey, the grass really is greener on the tall side of the fence! I am almost 5 "7", see that nifty way I avoided saying 5 "6", and I wish, wish, WISH I were 5 "9" or 5 "10"!!! I think it started bc when I was a teenager, I read that some movie star I liked was 5 "10", and then two of my dang brothers compounded it by marrying 6 foot tall volleyball players so I end up feeling like such a shrimp. My husband is 6 "3", so I just wear a lot of heels, lol. I like tall, and I think you're lucky!!! BTW, clothes look better, hell, everything looks better when your shoulders are wider than your hips, so I really wouldn't worry about it. You sound perfect to me. :)
