Louise C	She may find it offputting that you are looking at pictures of other women rather than at her. I am not sure how I would feel about my husband looking at these magazines, but I think I might find it a bit discouraging. You really need to talk it over with her and find out what she really feels about it.

girlie girl	She might feel insecure, I wouldn't like it if my man brought them home, but if I introduced them I would feel a little bit more secure with it... it is a girl thing, and men and women think completely different about things, some girls feel as if the guys are cheating on them, if they are actually getting excited by the mags or vids...

firemoon520	Well...I think it's kind of insulting, bringing those home when your wife can see them. It's like telling her she's not pretty enough or good enough and that she will never be. But that doesn't mean you should stop buying them, just look at them when your wife can't see or know. She probably looks at them because she's curious what's so great about them...and why guys like to read them instead of talking to her....

united9198	That is a common problem for young married people. Your wife wants you to be turned on by her and not to have you fantasizing about the women in a magazine. It irritates you to begin with, but as you get older, you begin to understand how insulting it is for you to have those materials in your home.

FR80C@	Maybe she is insecure. Maybe she "reads" them because she is trying to figure out what those women have that she doesn't. That's just an opinion of course I have no way of knowing what she thinks.

terraisearth	Not all women are like that... I often buy my man those kinds of magazines. We look at them together. She was probably just reading them to see what kind of women she's "competing" with...

Shavon	Most likely she has issues with insecurity and she is just in her mind checking out the competition. Sit down and talk to her and explain to her that she is beautiful and you love her and these women are just fantasy,nothing more.

itsmechrisreally	To me, this sounds like she is curious as to what's in them but at the same time, takes offense to them because she might feel jealous that you're looking at them instead of her. Try just sitting down and talking with her about it. Try and find out why she doesn't want you reading them.
