To husbands how can you be the leader of your ordained family God gave you in the first place ?

I want to know how a man should lead his one & only family God gave in the first place ................... like in the attitude, in commitment , in loyality , in unconditional love , in relationships and in spiritual. The secord , third , fourth , etc marriages after divorce don't counts here ........... ONLY the first one does because they are the true ones God joined together until death.

jbuilder7916	First by realizing that my wife is God's gift to me. She is willing to submit to my leadership when I am loving her as Christ loves the church. If someone is loving you with a self sacrifice then you can feel comfortable in following the leadership of your husband. Second, by realizing that leadership is a huge responsibility. If something goes wrong in our relationship then the burden must fall on my shoulders. Finally, you must lead by example. By demonstrating my love, praying for my family, praying with my wife, taking a strong role in the rasing of our children, and living out Christianity 7 days a week instead of just on sunday.

peggy j	You are obviously religous so why not seek your advice at your church? To me you sound delusional.

Mit	Lady. God gave us choices not instructions that had to be followed. If we used the bible as Gods word you would be able to ask any questions.

chrissy757	Why depend on religion? There is no man that can, according to the bible, lead his family into righteousness unless he is perfect and his wife is perfect as well. Honestly, no such thing! Quit trying to live by the bible and just be with your hubby...religion has taken too much control. Does it mean nothing to be a happy couple who doesn't hurt anyone and still not serve a higher being every Sunday with all the other hypocrites?

zeakster01	God put man above all else in the family, it is his place to put his woman and family above himself. I feel his attitude should be one of whats best for the family as a unit, seek advice from the members but ultimately the decision rests with him. That's the attitude I feel God meant for a husband to have. However, there has to be a balance stuck with the people of the family also, otherwise a husband will begin to feel poorly. Ive been married for 24 years, and recently I realized there was a very poor balance....it causes bad tidings....
