It depends on what country you live in. Where i live sixteen with your parents permission. |

It's different in every state. Look up your state online, should be easy to find.
Good luck |

Hmmmm... the age of consent in Mexico City is 12, so I'm guessing you can get married then. I was curious about this topic too and I looked it up... hahahahahaha! |

I think it would depend on the state you live in. Then it would turn to your parents for there approval to sign for you to marry. |

16 w/ parental concent, and 18 on your own. I really dont recommentd getting married any younger than 18 (and even thats a stretch). I got married when I was 20 and everyone thought that was too young. |

16 with both parents permission. 18 without. Don't do it. Why waste your youth on marriage? Live a little. And if your still together in a few years, then get married. |

It depends on a lot of factors actually. Consider the following;
>what country?
>what religion?
>the culture and tradition of that particular area? |

Legally it varies according to the country you live in.....but if you really desperate, im sure you can join a random Nomadic tribe somewhere in the world....pretty sure it doesnt matter what age you are then, haha....:) |

depends on where you live. also if you are under your states legal age your parents can sign for you and you can still get married. however in my state, both of your parents have to sign. (or at least that was the case when i got married, lol) |

dude, i know you're damn young, and you might REALLY love this girl, but not yet dude, trust me, after the get married, they think they don't have to worry about thier looks anymore, and they'll get fat and grouchy, just not yet. |

Perhaps a more detailed answer than just a number is what you're looking for? Here goes:
In the US, all but two states require that both the bride & groom be 18 in order to marry without parental consent and/or court order. Nebraska sets the age for consent to marriage at 19, and Mississippi at 21. Each state has its own statutes for marriage under their given age of consent, most say that a person may marry at the age of 15, 16, or even as low as 13(girls) or 14(boys) (this is New Hampshire) with various levels of parental & judicial consent, or in case of pregnancy.
So it does matter quite a bit where you live, as another poster said. If you live outside the US & its territories, the laws obviously differ as well. A simple Google search will turn up the information you need. |
