WOMEN ONLY PLEASE: Why do women have affairs?

terri s	Women like men have needs and wants. Some people reach for the forbidden apple and some people do not. When a need such as affection is not being met and along comes coworker "dave" and promises to treat you like a queen for the rest of your life some people "not all" will jump to that ship. However in about 6 months to three years that ship will start to develop some leaks and another ship will look better. Finally people learn that happiness is something within and don't lean so much on a partner for it.

anjilla_kohl	Everyone's different, but in my opinion she either got bored with her relationship or she felt she was not being treated properly at the time, and thus turned to you for either attention or for your charm, it's hard to say. Also alot depends on age and past, she could be immature to settling down or perhaps in her past she could have also been taught bad examples of dedication or just forgot the meaning of "til death do us part"

Shanny	Women have affairs because they aren't getting what they need from their man. I had an affair on my first husband because he was boring, and never there for me and very selffish, only cared about what he wanted and needed. You stop loving your spouse also because you aren't getting what you need. Sounds like that is what she is going through. I would stay away until she decides to divorce him and be with you, don't be her mistress on the side unless you want to get hurt.

Kreta92	girls sometimes fall in love with who they want to love. They see the person for who they wish they were. When all the glitz and glamour of love fades and you realize, "hey, thats not who i married...." then you're in deep ****. Also, the girl may be insecure and not know about herself. People (like me) find themselves through different relationships..... and, no offense but how can ur morals allow u to screw with a married woman?? wutever rox ur boat, i guess......

j t	they are missing something from there current relationship and think having an affair will give them back that spice or whatever it is they are lacking, but in actuallity it just screws everything up on all 3 sides.

jessie	You did the right thing. Women cheat because their not in love - You should look for someone who will respect and honor you - and doesn't have hangups about an ex.

Sassy Shut Your Mouth	Not all women have affairs. Men have them too. There is no excuse for it. Cheating is totally unacceptable and women/men should not stand for it.

WE	Good thing you backed off. For your own good, stay away from her because you will not win. If she does not love him, why is she still with him?

The Chesire Cat	its hard to predict why anyone will have an afair..women or men.. for each individual who has an affair, they all have their own, different reasons as to why they do it..
