well you cant have one without the other, it souunds a bit cliche but its true, i was madly in ,love with this man who i did not trust y did i not trust him because my my instincts told me plus a whole bunch of clues i ignored because of the love it was not fare to me and trust without love well idk it might be fine and secure for awhile but once you find someone who make your heart beat fast and palms sweaty you'll drop that relationship in a sec and it isnt fair to the other person now is it |

Trust. It is concrete and built on facts. Love is different things to different people and mostly hormonal( lol ). Trust for sure. |

i would say love. you can trust someone and not love them. however, you can love someone a learn to trust them. my hubby has messed up royally in the past. I do not trust him from the messes now. i still love him though. i would rather love him and learn to trust him again than trust him and not love him. |

Without love the two people would find someone else that they do love and the relationship would dissolve.
Without trust the two people would not be able to give of themselves completely and the relationship would also dissolve.
So you can't really love someone without trusting them enough to give yourself completely and you can't be in a relationship if all you have is trust and not love, therefore the question is actually a paradox as love and trust are inter-wound. |

I think they are pretty equal if you want a relationship to last for a very long time. |

Both Cause if u not gonna love your spouse then its not a reason for u to care... if u don't trust your spouse something is wrong..... but i say both if u cant trust them leave them along. If u ain't gonna try 2 love them u don't need to be with them |

Trust is the core of love, otherwise relationships will collapse in no time.
No trust = No love but plenty of self-centeredness
No love = No NEED for trust |

i think trust first because you need to trust somone before you can actually love them |

I would have to say trust. Also don't believe you can fully love someone until you can totally trust them. |

Both! If you love someone then you should be able to trust them....if you don't trust them...how could you really love them?
LOL...Someone got their cherios pissed in this am! I agree that you have to trust someone before you can love them..but you didn't ask which should come first...you asked which was more important....and they both are in order to maintain a relationship. |
