What advice do you wish someone had shared with you 5 years ago?

Melissa H	Not to have any children. I love my children but I always wanted to waste my moms money and travel everywhere. I never knew, when I met my children's dad I would have 5 children and no teenage life!

electroblitz	don't rely on your best friend to always be there for you , even if you're always there for them.

jude	to communicate with your spouse, try to find out why they were unhappy, try harder to work it out. be more aware of changes in your spouses personality. find out before u marry someone how they treated the other women before u.

azflower25	I got the good advice, I just chose not to listen to it. The advice was to REALLY think about getting involved with someone when I did...I wish I would have listened!

Melissa M	My advice is DON'T SETTLE OUT. I've had to learn that the hard way, but now I am getting married to a wonderful man who is the right person for me. There are so many unhappy marriages in this world, people getting divorces, people being unfaithful because they settled out and married someone they weren't really in love with or the settled out for someone because they felt it was "time". Don't DO that! if someone is a weirdo, then they are just a damn weirdo, don't try to fix it. End it, learn from it, and find someone better.

jennifer_weisz	I had (have) really down to earth parents who always discussed with me the tough side to everything. I really appreciate that now as I see confused/frustrated adults all around me. I do wish we would have touch more deeply on investment strategies.
