If my husband cleaned the toilets, I would fall over dead. |

I do...he wouldn't know how to do it right anyway. However, he does vacuum...mostly because he likes to make the dog flip out. |

I do. My husband doesn't notice if they are dirty and doesn't notice if they are clean. I think he thinks there's a magic fairy in the house that does these things! |

My wife does most of the other inside chores, so cleaning the toilets is the least I could do. |

EVERYTHING should be a 50/50 in a marriage |

We have a housekeeper.
In your situation, sounds like you need to bite the bullet and GROW UP. We all have things we don't like to do. Deal with it. |

I do. If you can get him to help 50% of the time, you are doing good. I'm sure it also helps to ask nice.....thats how I get out of cooking |

LOL sorry, but you'll have to do your share or hire a cleaner.
i just had to laugh because i've never met a guy who cleans toilets. i didn't think that existed. |

Since it jut my wife and me, she cleans her toilet, and I clean mine. I also clean the toilet in the guest bathroom if someone uses it. |

I do it and happily b/c that way they are actually going to be cleaned and disinfected. I got kids and need it cleaned right, not half @ssed like he'd do it. |

My husband cleans the toilets since I'm not the one who "misses". Tell him, "the one who misses is the one who cleans it". He'll either clean it or be a little more careful not to miss the target. |

It is only fair for you to doit to as long as he remembers to flush, toilet seat down, and if he sprinkles when he tinkles remind him to be a sweetie and wipe that seatie
So go and get some gloves It is not that bad |

At least he offers 50/50. I have to whine and complain to get my husband to do much of anything around the house. Be thankful for what u have. I clean my entire house every weekend, wash clothes, deal with the kids 98% myself. |

I think my wife is going to die when she finds out I cleaned the toilets last weekend (When I was cleaning the house) and for the past couple of days as some of us have been sick. I hope she'll be ok from the shock :) |

Well, maybe he hates cleaning toilets as much as you do? There has to be a suitable and AGREEABLE compromise with this or any other issue that comes up in a relationship. I hate cleaning toilets, too, but do it as does my husband. |

Okay!! for real, i do the toilets, but it doesnt get cleaned as often as it should cause i have 3 children and a roomate and my hubby, ewww what a filthy job it's just too unfair!!
both of you should clean it together and get it over w/ plus it will make time for a romantic bath time afterwards!! (smile) |

He cooks, takes out the trash, makes sure his clothes are in the hamper (or they don't get washed), and kills bugs.
I take care of everything else which unfortunately includes the toilet.
I suggest scrubbing bubbles for the bathroom. Leave on for 15 minutes and wipe off with a toilet brush. |

Oh my god, what is the big freakin deal here? Toilets are a lot cleaner then you may think. Your kitchen counter probably has more germs than your toilet, or the money you handle every day, or the handles you touch going into a businesses, or even the ATM machine, those things hold thousands more germs and nasty things then a toilet will ever see. Get over yourself and clean the dang toilet lady! |

The day my husband cleaned the toilets i think I would have him rushed to the ER for erratic behavior. Never has it happened in my house & I am sure it never will. If were to ever do it I am sure he wouldn't do it right anyway so that i will never ask him to do it again. |

I do all the housework for my family. I see it this way, my husband goes out to support our family so I make sure our house is cleaned, the laundry is done and the dinner is made....I make sure he doesn't have to lift a finger to clean anything! I think if you both work, and he is willing to do it 50/50 than that's fair. You should realize how lucky you are that a man is willing do help around the house..LOL! |
|

Momto2inFL

Then I think you should cook dinner and only cook for yourself and tell him that it's 50/50. You made yours, now he has to make his. :)
Kidding of course....I always clean the house. My husband does a crappy job cleaning anyways. I don't ever say anything though. I just let him use the plates that he washed so when he complains about the food chunks, at least I can tell him it wasn't me that washed them.
And I clean the toilets or some new disease may crawl out if hubby does it! LOL! |

Unfortunately...That would be me! everyday!...Tired of it! but if I don't do it , Nobody will...And that's just disgusting! Be fair, If he has a much harder job and works longer hrs than you make sure your doing your part! but on the other hand if your taking care of kids all day and cooking and cleaning he needs to do his part as well, relationships should be 50/50 weigh out the differences and talk about it, That's the best thing you can do! |

Since only the dog and I live there, and I can't get him to pull his weight around the house, I do. Otherwise, it wouldn't get done. So, hey, if I had to do it 1/2 the time vs. all the time, I wouldn't be complaining. It's really not that difficult, and in fact, I think it is one of the easiest rooms to clean actually. |
