Why is it ok for a husband to pass gas in front of whom ever, but the wife should always seek...?

warmellie	This is along the same lines of why can men grab their crotches and rearrange in full view of the entire world, but if a woman scratches her crotch she must have something terribly wrong.

Rich	What's good for one is good for the other. If he does it anywhere and everywhere, you can too. If he insists that you do it in private, then he should extend you the same courtesy.

Martha Focker says because I said so	I don't think it has anything to do with a husband or the male population at all but more or less lies within how us women feel about it. Women tend to like to be more discrete about such things and I fall into that category.

Intuition	for some reason they think it is cute, funny, or whatever. it is an immaturity thing. at some point they usually grow up and stop thinking that way, but sometimes it takes a very long time. usually they need to be set straight by an older dignified guy that they have respect for. i don't know why they don't believe their wife. some guys figure it out on their own. sorry that yours didn't. best wishes.

incurs	My son-in-law thinks the same way. My daughter has to go to the bathroom just to pass gas. I think it's rude to pass gas in front of people in a public place for man or woman, but while you're in the privacy of your own home, you should be able to do so in front of your spouse and children. It's a natural bodily function and therefore nothing to be ashamed of. I grew up in a household with 6 kids, and my mother used to fart and say "Quick, catch it & paint it green!" When I fart around my grandchildren, I usually say "Blew you a kiss!" From way back in my youth & even to this day, I've found farts to be funny. Who can be ladylike all the time? In public, yes, but at home, I'll be myself. Just one final note...phhht!
