Why is it that a woman can hit a guy and do whatever they want and it's okay but if a guys hits back?

Isaac	Men are typically much stronger than women, and the physical difference makes it one sided fight. It's the same as bullying when the 6th grader hits the 4th grader (it just isn't a fair fight). Now, that doesn't make it right for a woman to hit a man. But, if it does happen, most men would have minimal hurt, and should be able to walk away. By the way, a woman can be charged with spousal abuse.

Kathleen312	That's domestic abuse, and it applies to both male and female. However, most guy don't want to lay a hand on a female, because some believe it is rude too, or not polite, but if anyone is abusing you or hitting you, call the cops.

David J	Abuse goes both ways. I have seen women arrested for putting marks on a woman, be it not as often. The problem is how do you teach two grown people that hitting isn't the right thing to do? Good Luck

snuffles	FINALLY, people who see it the same way as myself. the debates I have had about this with friends....hours and hours of trying to explain this viewpoint. Women seem to only want equal rights when it suits them!! I wouldn't like to be hit by a guy (or a girl) but I'm sure he wouldn't like to be hit by me either!!

Ashley	I'll tell you my opinion is if its good for the goose its good for the gander!!! I believe if a woman hits a man that man has just as much right to hit back. I have seen more and more women getting arrested for domestic abuse and I think that's a good thing!!

Like me and my bf made it clear if i hit him ill get hit in return and if he hits me i'd hit him in return cause we both believe if u hit someone u deserve to get hit back...Unless it's like play fighting then i guess it's okay to mess around.. A lot of people think it's wrong cause men are physically stronger and can hurt women and women sometimes dont hit hard so its not gonna effect the guy if she hits him..

Miss Ladybug	No one should hit anyone. Children hit because they can't communicate. As adults we should express our feelings and emotions with words. We teach our children not to use violence, why would it ever be acceptable for an adult to use it? If a woman hits she is an abuser too.

Jess	This is absolutely true. It's just the way it is because there's such a huge increase of feminists - and the meaning gets lost because it doesn't mean equality anymore, just more power. Men in general are just seen as a more powerful figure than women - which makes it seem like abuse. But what most people would generally think is that women can't cause harm to men. You could still probably take that person to court though, whether it's a male or female.

Rosie_0801	Those of us who consider ourselves to be ladies don't do that. Anyway, domestic abuse and assault are still crimes even when a woman is the aggressor. My guess is that men don't report it. If they don't report it, there will be no consequences for her.

Const. King	I agree women get away with almost anything. They can smack guys and it's OK, but if a guy retuns the smack he's going to jail. If you think that's bad, you could not even begin to think what they get away with in divorce courts.

doomonyou!	i don't believe in hitting. But, let's think about this for a moment. What is better: a 6 foot 4 inch, 300 pound man slugs a 5 foot tall, 98 pound woman? Some people have a problem with it for the same reason they do not support hitting kids. It's not fair. They are smaller. However, some women are huge and muscular, and some guys are weak and small. It really depends on how fair the fight is. Though the best idea would be to not hit anyone at all!

But in my case(as a woman) if a man hit me: I would beat his A have my MAMA beat his A, have all of my FAMILY beat his A have him put in jail, get a restraing order, and sue his A If I were a man and a woman hit me.......I would honestly want to beat her A**........and im sure if thats happened to a man he will feel the same way because he might feel like HIS MANHOOD is being challgenged or something......BUT: even though you feel that way you have to restrain yourself and remove yourself from that situation quickly before you do something you'll regret latter.......
