SAN P	"Always" is inappropriate and just wrong in this question. It stands to reason that there are some married men who do not cheat. I believe the an answer to "why" men cheat is simply "opportunity." There is absolutely no way to minimize opportunity. There are several time opportunities throughout the course of a day, as well as, an endless supply of prospective and willing participants. Infidelity is a personal decision that men and women, probably without much thought to the repercussions and/or probable complications. It is absolutely NOT a reflection of their spouses performance of their obligations in any aspect. The issue is only with the cheater.

Badboyattitude	The answer to your question is Not all men cheat and not all women cheat. There are alot on each side that do. If you can't trust the one you married then you shouldn't be in that situation. Get out of it. I have been going with a girl for 4 years and she was the one that cheated many times. I was always faithful. So don't bash all of the men out there. Some of us are old fashion and love the one we are with.

mab5096	They don't! If a man cheats he is either in a very unhappy marriage (probably due to his own negligence) or else he is just a very weak man. A strong man who is happy in his marriage won't cheat. Why would he? If he is so unhappy in his marriage, he should leave it first.

doc	Married men don't ALWAYS cheat. According to statistics women are more likely to cheat then men. But once again you can't say ALWAYS...or NEVER...or EVERYONE - it simply is not true.
