Why my husband is weird?

My husband and I have been married for little over 2yrs he is 32 I’m 23. He doesn’t like me making noises while I’m eating cereal and he yells at me for it and he makes noises while he is eating cereal. Are all husbands are like that or what???

Hun, if my husband yelled at me for anything at all....he would feel the door hitting his butt on his way out!!!!

yes they are. My husband and I are married for 10 years now and he is still nit picking at my habits that he finds annoying and I do the same to him, but thats what makes us who we are and we love each other for those little annoying things.
I hope you feel the same about your hubby and I'm sure he would miss your noises if you weren't there making them and he was all alone.

husbands or men in general never really see the fault in themselves. And they will argue this fact forever. Men always think they are right and that they can do no wrong. But its not really there fault, men were created that way. Some men however are a little more bigheaded about things than others. I tell my husband that be makes these weird, funky noises in his sleep and he swears up and down that he doesn't and I am just dreaming.

There are just some little idiosyncrasies that we learn to think of as 'cute' or 'quaint' and tolerate them. And that works both ways.

The issue here, though, isn't about the eating noises - it's that you're getting grumped at. That's where you need to draw the line "I am not willing to be treated this way!" It isn't about the cereal - get that.

Men always have thir periods. They always have P.M.S. except, when they have thir periods, they don't bleed.

No, your husband just sounds controlling.

Try running a tape recorder while he is eating. Then you could prove that he makes noise as well.

It is difficult to eat cereal without making a noise. Next time he yells at you, walk out of the room and give him the silent treatment for like a day or so. He will soon get the message.

No. They aren't. He just sounds like an idiot. I wouldn't sit to a meal with him. Start yelling at him when he is making noises. OR, when he yells at you, just tell him you are only imitating him.

dragonflies
well he shouldnt be yelling at you for it..hes not your dad.

Okay, quirky, but if that's the only thing that he's weird about, eat your cereal when he's not around. If there are lots of things like this, then I would say that he's controlling. That's a very different thing, and should be addressed with a counselor.

Mine is definitely not like that.

Dont worry about it.....sounds like he may be joking around with you and your taking it the wrong way! but if not then he has a serious issue that needs to be resolved!

No. He sounds really immature. Stand up for yourself. Tell him to knock off the noises too or you will continue. If he behaves like a child then call him on it. Let him cool off and maybe he'll come around.

Yes, we are all hypocrites. Didn't you read the handbook when you got married? It says, 'Men can do and say whatever they want and you will like it, damnit'.
