Why would a 31 year old man marry a 65 year old woman?

Jamia	money, money,money. it's all about the money. unless he's the type who enjoys having someone dependent on him because, in time, she's going to be really dependent on him, you know? changing diapers, feeding, and such.

sweet&spicyjazzy.	mainly for money. but who knows they could be deeply in love. age is just a number. and when your that old, it shouldnt matter how old your significant other is, the whole thing that should matter is that you love that person. who cares what other people think.

Lori	money and a mommy who will take care of him, my ex step mom married a younger man after cheating on my dad, then re-marrying another man, then divorcing him to be with the younger guy. She ended up sick of his in maturity and divorced him too. The woman is as messed up as the man.

Antonietta	A lot of times men like older women because they seem more motherly and mature along with being established same as a younger women going for an older man same logic. A lot of times the older women may have a body of a 30 year old since she may take care of herself so its not as weird as it seems.

Nalan	1) Mostly for their wealth and what they can leave behind when they pass away. 2) Didn't have a great relationship with their mother so seeking to fill that void 3) Truly finds them attractive and in love, some people are just into those kind of stuff 4) people look for guidance and experience . They feel secure because they will make clear and concise decisions. 5) Make themselves feel better and make them out to be younger at heart... 6) Maye some people grow up too fast and feel like they can relate more to an older person and feel comfortable with them. 7)looking for a short term relationship 8)doesn't want kids

ingeniousmind	Money , mommy syndrome, security, older women are looking alot better then alot of the women his age do now. I am not saying all but a good portion of older women are looking alot better then their counter parts. also they could share some very unique interests to be a better way of putting it. I have seen it all .... Just go to Mall of America you will see the plain Jane with Mr GQ or the geek with the super model. There is a need they are filling for some reason or other.

Doodlestuff	People marry for loneliness and sometimes protection against children or family as the spouse is the one who has all say over medical care. One of my quilting buddies is 70 and married to a guy in his 40s. He clearly has a lot more money than she does, so money is definitely not the reason here. I know another case where a younger guy married an older gal. They were coworkers and she was afraid of her son. She was certainly not rich and only had a small life insurance policy. They were married a bit more than a decade. He traveled a lot, so marriage and a family wasn't really an option while he was building his career. I lost track of him after her death because he moved to another city - same company.

Allie	Umm, I'd say that the answer is different in every case but I'd say hopefully because they love each other. Other reasons might be for comfort, stability, money, revenge, because he can freeload off her, or because she takes care of him or any number of other reasons. It really isn't that different from a 31 yr. old woman marrying a 65 yr. old man in my opinion.
