I do all the house chores and take my boy to school too.
MY wife watches morning tv, and then spends 1&1/2 hrs doing her face. She doesn't work!
But she does Many things all of the time which help me and our son, so I'm happy.
The real question is, do YOU think you're lazy?!
I used to be , now I do my bit ( however small) and I can hold my head up.
We used to argue all the time.
Now we accept our OWN shortcomings before we call each other names.
Most important is YOU believe you are contributing.
If not, He won't either! |

How does your house husband feel about your withdrawal of labour when you return home? Does he appreciate that you will have completed a 12 hours shift? By the way during the 12 hours I suspect he will have completed all his tasks. You forget to say whether your husband works at all and if he is complaining about your attitude.Do you have a gullty conscience? |

If more help needs to be done around the house, have him hire a maid. You have your hands full, and I believe in relaxing as much as possible no matter what. Who wants to spend their whole life cleaning the house? |

Yes, you still work less than the average person, and because its a 12 hour shift means nothing. |

on the days that you work he should do the chores. the days that you dont you should. two days a week you should split it so you can rest too.
by the way does your hubby work? |

Marriage is a partnership and if only one person is doing all of the household chores and maintaining the family environment then that ship is going to sink. Everyone works hard at their jobs but they also need to work hard on their lives/homes/families.
So to answer your question, yes I think your lazy. |

Aaaaah . . . that's 36 hours. If you sleep 8 hours a night, that's 56 more hours, and eat 2 hours a day, that's 24 more for a total of 116 hours. There are 168 hours in a week, leaving an unused balance of 52 hours. I should think you'd get bored wasting 52 hours a week |

I think the chores should be shared. |

Does he work too? Why would you refuse to do anything when you get home? Chores and everyday life as a married couple should be looked as a team effort. Be careful of putting so much on your husbands plate. He sounds like a good guy, but a lot of people could get fed up quickly in a situation like this. |

If he works too then he is going to get sick of that real quick. On the other hand there are plenty of men who have wives that work just as many hours as them, but they still expect the wife to do the cooking and cleaning just because she is the women. I think chores should be even. |

i wouldnt call you lazy if u work twelve hour shifts! i have two kids(one is 3 and one is 6months) i work parttime and care for them fulltime.my partner works 10hour nights, five days a week. i get up with my baby in the night cos i dont think its fair when he has his2days off....everyone has different ideals and standards and if,like me,it works for you and your husband then so be it!! xx |

I think you are a little lazy, why don't you help more? A marriage is fifty, fifty and you need to give more. |

Personally, I think you should be carrying your share of the housekeeping too. You're working 36 hours a week while your husband works everyday at least 10-12 hours a day. |

does he work to, if that be the case then YES
sorry but its your job... thats just the way it is.
If he wants to help thats fine but you should really be doing something. Thee 12's is not full time even. |

yeah, I think you are a little bit. Marriage is supposed to be equal. Now, if he's a stay at home dad thats one thing, but if he goes out and works as well, you should at least help with the laundry, clean the kitchen sometimes and do your share of bathroom cleaning |

Yes!!! You should help around the house. That is one for the reasons peolpe get a divorce. I don't think you want your hubby to divorce you. Do you? |

If you refuse to work when you get home, I would say you are selfish and yes, lazy. What do you do those days when you are not working a job? Watch TV while your husband does all the work? |
|

Im kind of a big deal!
