marianne	Actually, I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect man. It's all about give and take. Just be patient and he'll show up when you least expect it.

DJ Jazzy L	There is no perfect man/woman/significant other/mate/lover/main squeeze/sugar bum or sweetheart on the face of this planet. Anyone who has been in a lifelong relationship can tell you that. Unfortunately, too many of us searching for the idea relationship fall into the illusion of starry-eyed bliss. I have two sisters, one married for over twenty years and another married for over thirty. I have a brother married for over ten years. For each it is their first and only marriage (which I applaud them on). They- and their spouses- made a decision to live up to the creed "until death do you part." Trust me. Their marriages/relationships have been far from perfect but their integrity and love toward each other is. I'm sure they could say that their spouses are not perfect but that they help perfect their marriages. I realize you didn't ask about marriage, but if you're looking for the "perfect man", I can assume you're looking for a long-lasting relationship, where you'll be happy forever. First, look for honesty and integrity. This doesn't happen on the first date. Relationships take time to mature. Hopefully you haven't fallen into the "wham, bam, thank you mam" syndrome and if so, change your course so you can see clearly. Second, good looks aren't everything. Look at aged people and decide now that what really counts is the mutual bond/love and respect that you for each other. Third, finances. I'll leave that one up to you. Of the three aforementioned marriages, one's upper middle-class, one's middle-class and one's at poverty level. So no matter what route you take to find your perfect man, whether he's found at a social event, on-line or by happenstance, you determine your destiny by not being easy- easy being gullible. Measure your relationship by actions, not by words, because people can make the mouth say anything.

lil_blu101	I would have to say. wait and he will come. He wont be perfect. No one is perfect. But maybe he will be PERFECT FOR YOU. Everyone has something that you are not going to LIKE about them, but it is all of those little things that you LOVE about them that make up for it. Good Luck hun!

truely_reliable_friend	You can't just FIND the perfect man..He will come to you or you will meet when the time is right. Love isn't something that you can just look for. Its something that will come along at the point in your life when you are ready for it. It is more special when it comes along and your not expecting it. wild1handy	How would you recognize the 'perfect man' if you saw him? There was only one perfect man ever walked on this planet, and they nailed him to a cross. None of us are perfect, we all have our quirks, our idiosyncrasy's, that's part of the challenge in developing a relationship, is working thru the difficulties, and loving that person in spite of the fact that they are not 'perfect'.
