Some guys do this. Sometimes it is to hide something. Sometimes it is just to show defiance toward you. A "you can't control me" sort of thing. Either way, he has a bit of growing up to do. |

No, but next time, go get him or tell him to find his own way home. You'll then see who reacting. |

welll...is your man a cheater? A drug-doer? I am wondering WHY it matters IF he has never proven himself untrustworthy Why are you so bent out of shape? I cant judge wether or not you over reacted or not with what you have writen but I will say that if your man is a solid, good guy then yes, you most definately are over reacting. He saved your family the cost & burden of a DUI...so, what is your problem, REALLY? |

NO you're not overreacting!! Listen to your GUT - it's usually right. Tell him you'll be happy to PICK HIM UP and see what he says to that! otherwise, I hate to tell you but it sounds WAAAY too fishy! |

There is absolutely no need for a husband to spend the night at someone else's house nor a wife to spend the night at someone else's house UNLESS it is a relative. If he drank too much, you tell him you're coming to get him and if he opposes, go over there anyway and see for yourself. RED FLAG!!! |

Do you have a reason to think he's cheating? Do you keep him on a tight leash? All men need guy time, maybe you've smothered him too much. |

No but at least he has the good sense not to drive. I have been in your shoes. It's a dilemma! On one hand, you have a right to be upset your husband drank too much. On the other, he is making a wise decision not to drive. I would say let it pass this time and don't get upset but if it becomes a habit, then you have a legit gripe! |

Unless you live outside of the USA it's still a decent time.
I would go to the friends house and bring his butt home. |

You better make him come back right now, How do you know hes not cheating if hes spending the night, You better go pick him up right now, Or if you trust him and know hes not doing anything bad at all and hes just been drinking and hes reallly drunk then you got nothing to be worried about, but if you think hes cheating on you then u better make him come home or go pick him up if you have a car.. But if hes not cheating then its all good.. Dont worry then.. |

Actually i think u are a little overreacting.
At least he did text you to inform you about it.
You do wish to see drunk sleeping on the street while making his way home right? |

If he's drunk maybe he's just being silly. He mind wouldn't be working probably if he was smashed.
I wouldn't read too much into this. |

I would text him back and tell him I'm on my way to pick up his drunk *ss. To spend the night is suspicious.

Well duh, of course he should have driven home drunk.
You can not be happy but you should support his wise choice. |

Can you go pick him up? If not, I guess he need to sleep it off... |

Hard to answer, not knowing your history. Does he go out alot? Does he get drunk alot? Has he done this before?
Generally I would say that you should remember that all men need time with the boys.
Secondly, he is drunk and you don't want him driving so let him stay.
Then, tomorrow, I would let him have it :) |
