Yea, that'd be a really good plan. I'm sure your Mom would be impressed and proud. Not to mention the rest of your family. |

Oh sure! That will get you in good terms with your mom. Hope you got some money in the bank and are self sufficient, because as a mother, I can get pretty pissed, and when my daughter gets married without telling me, she better be ready to handle life on her own. |

no, you'll hopefully only get married once in your life, so don't do it wrong or you'll regret it. involve your mom, his mom, family, friends, everyone you'll want to share your JOY with! best wishes! |

Why would not want to let your mother know?? Are you two not that close. That is a special time in your life. I wouldnt dream of my mother not being at my wedding!! Also think of this. Would she be hurt if you didnt let her know?? How would you feel if your own child did that to you? But it also depends on the kind of relationship you and your mother have. |

Tell her first. OR at least drop a hint. And if you must get married without telling her, your explanation: "Sorry mom, he proposed and I said yes and it all happened so fast" or something along those lines. |

Tell your mom and invite her to your ceremony. Why wouldn't you let your mom know? If you like to keep secrets, remember, your husband to be is watching. |

Is there a reason that you wouldn't tell her? You mean to tell me that she isn't invited to the wedding???? My mom would FREAK!!! (and so would I) |

I'm guessing you're not close to your mom? I think you should tell her, and invite her to the ceremony, if possible. You may live to regret it if you don't - but then again, you may regret it if you do - I don't know your mom... !!! |

It depends on the situation. If you can it would be nice to let your mom know about it so she can partcipate. Otherwise you will have to use your judgement |
