And if so, do they at least provide you with your own bedding?

It will depend, Tridents usually not because there is enough berthing on there for everyone and they are set up differently. On FAs hot racking can be necessary depending on what is going on and if they have a full crew. This means 3 guys share 2 bunks, where 2 can sleep while the other one is on watch. They can also have bunks in the torpedo/missile area as well if it is necessary too. This usually happens with the newbies on board, not the guys that have been there awhile and only Enlisted, not Officers will share bunks.
You are given a pillow, sheets & blankets, standard issue. If you want more you bring it with you, many do especially when going out for awhile. |

When you're up and on watch, the other person is in bed. When he is up and on watch, YOU'RE in bed. That's called HOT RACKING. You don't sleep in it at the same time. |

Mike, its a berthing, not a barrack. I could be wrong because I'm not a submariner, but E-4 and below hot rack. |

Sometimes. Not all sailors, but some. It is called "hot racking." You can be issued sheets and store them with your other gear and put them on your rack each day if you wish. |
