How long does it take to get promoted after a Company Grade Article 15?

I got an article 15 In April of 2008, I was reduced from PV2 to PVT. I was told that within 6 mths I would regain PV2 and after a year I would be PFC... On my LES it still says PVT. What is going on????

Marine5	Nothing is automatic in the Military... Some one in your Chain of Command may feel you don't rate a promotion...??? If that is the case then you have to find out the reasons why ??? You may remain a PVT for your whole enlistment.
