LOL @ KYLE QUOTE : For the guy who said the British are the best trained in the world well maybe u should realize that the Americans kicked your *** out of our country with our military so you guys obviously aren't the best. LISTEN - in the american war of independance most of the people were british americans, the colonies were british. George washington had about 20 years as a mercenary aiding british generals, thats where he got the knowledge to win the war, from the british army. The british military were all over the world and did not dedicate all its force to the americas, and the dutch and french allied with the british americans. If britain had control of that continent at that point it would make their position stronger. I think france thought, if we cant have it, britains not having it. People in the americas were being taxed hardly anything compared to british people living in britain. Americans of the late 18th century were a mixture of mostly british, spanish, french, dutch, and native american descent, the only real americans were the ones u slaughtered in the years after establishing your country. Most real americans actually sided with the british and would have had a better life if the british had won. We ceded the americas to the continental army under george washington before consulting any of the 'real' americans, the ones u slaughtered. Remember the thirteen colonies were british, and before 1707 in the act of union they were english. We had every right to that land before any of u selfish people, afterall, who did the REAL americans side with?? And before u give me a thumbs down look it up from a reliable source, the majority of natives were allied to the british. EDITED : and if your wondering why they didnt carry on the same values they used in the war, its because they re-writ them, they couldnt stand being the same as the british, even if their methods were inferior. Thats why they rely on the same tactic to this day...... numbers over quality.

Kyle you may have kicked our asses in the American War of Independance, but in "The Rock" Sean Connery who was an old aged pensioner and ex-SAS man kicked the asses of a whole load of US Marines and Delta Forces Soldiers (ok I admit Nicholas Cage did save his bacon at one point). All of this after being locked up in high security prisons for the previous 30 years!

You'll get all of that in US Army also their are plenty of athletes there. I had basic who ran his two mile in 9:41 seconds. I personally can do 83 sit-ups in two minutes. And I know about eight guys who can do 100 push ups in two minutes. The US has a fit and tough military, I don't know where you get off thinking that the british army is tougher. Anyway I think you could just like a foreginer can join the US Army to earn citizenship. Odds are you won't hold a security clearence like you could here in the US.
