Question about getting into the Air Force after quitting before going into basic?

I just recently denied to take a job in munitions after a bunch of crazy events. Firstly I wanted to join the air force to get a job in some sort of computer field. My first impression that my recruiter gave me is that it would be easy with my score of 63. Well she was wrong and by the time meps came around i found out i was only qualified for 2 computer jobs. As fate would have it i got the wrong job which I was rushed into selecting because of lack of time. So that's when they gave me this munitions job. My recruiter told me not to worry about it that she would try to switch it. After I realized that she would not be able to switch me to a computer job that easily I was willing to switch to other jobs so we tried to switch but that did not work well. About 2 weeks before I was supposed to go I was offered a job in the mechanical field where I would choose 5 jobs at basic. I talked with my recruiter and one other one at the same time and I was willing to take the new mechanical and they told me that I was qualified for it and there was a 90% chance that i could get this job. The next day my recruiter calls and tells me I am not qualified for this new job and needs to know within an hour if I will take the munitions job. Anyway it was a really messy situation where I felt that they just told me enough lies to get me to leave with the job I was originally signed. So I backed out because I didn't feel comfortable with my recruiter, and I would really like to try another recruiter but I know that they will have records of me backing out. Is it still possible to try another recruiter and see if they can help me better?

gotta love the recruiters... There's still a great chance if you weren't discharged. actually, 100% if you didn't get discharged. try something like the Air or National Guard if needed. Good luck.

Slots for careers change very fast. She might have been telling you the truth and then it changed. But you can also cross-train if slots come open later. The problem is that everyone wants computer jobs. And most of them are civilian jobs with only some being military.
