Yes, pretty much if you fail 3 different test in Tech School will receive an entry level separation from the Air Force.
About the only time they will reclass you into another AFSC
Is if you are in a physically or academically hard AFSC's Tech School.
IE:
Physically hard -- CCT, Pararescue
Academically hard -- missile electronic maintenance, PMEL, weather, etc
IE: AFSC's with really high MAGE requirements
2. There is no reason anyone should fail three test during Tech School , what that means is the airmen is goofing off to much or partying to much and not hitting the books hard enough.
If you need to studying 3 or 4 hours every night, then you study three or four hours every night. |

These tests are not that hard if you study. I went through the hardest school at the fire academy at Goodfellow, the Hazardous Material Train-the-Trainer course. I had to study 3-4 hours a night. I was not the smartest person in the class, nor the biggest or strongest, but with effort I passed.
I have never heard of anyone failing three tests who actually studied. |

Doesn't look good. AF is booting a lot of the people that fail out in Tech School. I just went through Goodfellow on retrain and saw a lot of smart kids get kicked out because of multiple failures. Its always on a case by case basis though. |

Most likely they will recycle you to a flight a few weeks behind you and have you re-test before they drop you from the program. If you fail it the second time through, you will most likely be switched to a sh*t AFSC that no one wants, but they won't do that if YOU don't fail on YOUR part. They want you to pass, because they have already invested tens of thousand's of dollars in you. |
