Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of China, Liu Weimin said that China welcomes new anti-crisis measures adopted by the European Union deal with the sovereign debt.
China is willing to support the Union, whenever the need Weimin Liu wanted to clarify.



Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of China, Liu Weimin said that a stable and healthy growth within the EU and the euro area is of vital importance in maintaining the pace of global economic recovery.



"We hope that relevant measures can help to stabilize market confidence in the market. Measures that will be used to stop the worsening crisis, the need to promote employment and economic growth," said the spokesman of Foreign Ministry China, Liu Weimin.



At a summit in Brussels last week, EU leaders agreed to establish a new "fiscal pact" based on intergovernmental treaty rather than by changes in the current treaty. Britain has opted out of the pact. China continues therefore to support the Union. Weimin Liu said that China really believes that EU has the ability and wisdom to resolve the sovereign debt crisis.
