The problem that most concerned about humanity
Unemployment is the problem that increasingly worries over mankind, shown in a BBC poll on a sample of 11,000 people in 23 countries.
Annual survey provides a list of concern and asked them which one they talked to friends or relatives in the last month.

Corruption and poverty are still on top, but unemployment was mentioned by 18% of respondents - six times more than in 2009, when the study was conducted for the first time. The survey was conducted by Globescan. The phenomenon was registered in all countries considered.

However, corruption is the subject that was discussed most in the world. Almost a quarter of the respondents addressed this question in one form or another, in the last four weeks.

In second place is poverty, discussed by about 20% of the people.

Topics related to inflation, such as food and energy price rises are as discussed as unemployment, occupying the third position (18%). The degree of concern about unemployment varies from country to country, the biggest being in Spain.

In Nigeria, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Nigeria and Peru corruption was the most discussed topic, and crime and violence in Latin America.

In another group of developing countries - China, Russia, Kenya and the Philippines - food and energy price rises is the main topic discussed.

People in developed countries seemed concerned about issues such as global warming.
